Visitors who come to board at our project must not expect ‘tourist’ treatment – since the Guest-House functions strictly as an extension of our core activities, rather than as a ‘hotel’.
When you come to stay at BASA it is understood that you are coming to experience the uniqueness of living in a truly Natural space, coexisting with all the flora and fauna that thrives within it.

You should bear in mind that within the project
human beings are ‘second-class citizen’the wilderness enjoys the highest priority.

So,
for example, if a beehive forms in front of the door of a guest-house, we will not smoke-away the bees for the benefit of the guest – rather, it will be assumed that the guest is willing to learn to live with the hive, in harmony.

STAGE I: PRELIMINARY
FOLLOW THE STEPS BELOW…

  1. A clear idea about the nature of the project is essential:
     
    So, before you plan a visit to BABLI…

    • Please read this page carefully –
      It will help you to understand the unique character of the resident guest-house within our rural-action project
    • Make sure that you read and understand the rules & regulations page – when you make reservations at the babli guest-house, it is taken for granted that you agree to abide by these rules & regulations at all time during your visit
    • Also, please go through all the other pages of this website in detail, to understand what you should and should not expect at babli –
  2. Decide which rooms you want to reserve:
     
    You will find helpful sub-pages within the drop-down list at the top of the page,
    under the “guest-house” link [on the top navigation-bar]:-
    Such as the “room-descriptions” page – start here to see clear descriptions of each room in the guest-house, then go on to the “room-photos” page – to see photos of the interior and exterior views for each cottage-type, then you can check out the “room-tariffs”, as well as access other relevant information – these pages will provide you with all the details you may require
  3. Verify availability over telephone:

    – to VERIFY that the room(s) of your choice are available for reservation on the required dates.
     
    This calendar shows you the OVERALL availability, for all the rooms at our guest-house – You can also see availability of INDIVIDUAL ROOMS on the “vacancy” page (which can be accessed from the drop-down menu under the Guest-House link on top of each page as well) – However, the data on these calendars may not be fully up-to-date – so, please remember to call us for final confirmation.

  4. Plan your travel:
    You can look at the various options of travelling to and from the project on this page.

    NOTE: If you are coming by your own chauffeur-driven vehicle…
    Make sure that you arrange for your driver’s accommodation

    We do not allow drivers to use any common facilities (like water-sources, toilets etc.), and so it is important that you make arrangements for the same.
    Dormitory seats (beds) maybe reserved, along with your room-reservations

STAGE II: INVOICING
PROCESSING YOUR RESERVATION REQUEST…

  1. Submitting your reservation request:
     
    Once you have a clear idea about your reservation requirements, and you have VERIFIED AVAILABILITY with our field-director over telephone…

  3. Message/ Call and inform us:
     
    When you have successfully submitted the form (on-line)
    it is mandatory to SEND AN SMS/ CALL AND INFORM the field-director, Mo# +91 94747 72715 [11AM – 09PM: ANY DAY OF THE WEEK], to let us know about your submission –
     
    Failing which your reservation-request will stand as null & void, and further procedures will not be followed-up; as a result, your request maybe overridden by another parties request, for the same dates and rooms, as per our first-cum-first-served policy.
     
    In case the above-mentioned mobile number is inaccessible, please call our project office [Mob # +91 81166 47222 / Tel. # +91-3463 271-203] and leave a message for Mr Aaditto Shen.

  5. Receive and scrutinise the invoice:

    Next, we send you the details of your reservation and payment-requirements, against your reservation-request –
    Sent BY E-MAIL, to the address you provide in your form-submission data

    • Once we have received your form-submission for reservation request, we shall e-mail you the APPROPRIATE INVOICE/ BILL, based on your choice for
      MODE OF PAYMENT, as indicated in the form.
    • For example, if your chosen mode of payment is by NET-BANKING (on-line)/ PayPal, we shall provide our BANK/ PayPal details within the INVOICE e-mail. Further instructions for your chosen mode-of-payment will also be included therein.
    • Please check the details of the bill/ invoice carefully, to make sure that there has been no miscommunication.
    • IMPORTANT:
      Please remember – the INVOICE IS VALID FOR TWO WORKING-DAYS ONLY, from the date on which it has been emailed to you. It is MANDATORY to complete the payment through the chosen method within TWO WORKING-DAYS. Otherwise, the rooms become available for other parties and your INVOICE STATUS in converted to ‘NULL & VOID’ in our records.

STAGE III: PAYMENTS

  1. Once you receive the ‘Invoice’ through email (PDF attachment) you should
    complete the relevant advance payment by any of the following methods, as previously indicated (chosen) by you in the ‘Reservation-Request Form’:-

  2. Receive and print/ endorse the Advance-Payment Receipt:-
    • If you have paid using On-line (NEFT)/ PayPal options:

      1. When you make the on-line payment and inform us of the same (on the mentioned mobile number), we check your payment and send you an e-mail, as CONFIRMATION OF RESERVATION, once the amount has been successfully credited to our account.
      2. This confirmation-e-mail includes the ON-LINE RECEIPT
        [PDF file attachment].

        You need to print and carry Pg. 1 & 3 of this PDF-Receipt with you, as proof of your reservation.
      3. Please also carry any ONE PHOTO-ID for the person in whose name the Reservation has been affected.
    • If you have paid by CASH/ CHEQUE at a Cash-Collection Centre / paid by CASH through our Door-Collection-Agent:

      1. When you submit your reservation-request (through the on-line form) and inform us about your submission (on the mentioned mobile number), we send you an e-mail, which includes your INVOICE-CUM-RECEIPT, in the form of a PDF file.

        You need to print and carry / present Pg. 1 & 3 of this PDF-Invoice-cum-Receipt, when you go to the cash-collection centre / meet the Door-Collection Agent to make the payment.
      2. When you make the cash/ cheque payment at the Cash-Collection Centre / through our Door-Collection-Agent, the authorised personnel will stamp, sign and return relevant parts of the INVOICE-CUM-RECEIPT to you [pages 1 & 3 of the printed PDF file attachment] – thereby ENDORSING the reservation as CONFIRMED.
         
        You need to carry the Invoice and Receipt pages with you,
        with due “MARK OF RECEIPT” from the collection-centre / agent
        , as proof of your reservation.
      3. Please also carry any ONE PHOTO-ID for the person in whose name the Reservation has been affected.
